Natalie Ungari Obituary

Natalie (Corrigan) Ungari

Natalie (Corrigan) Ungari, age 35, the beloved wife of Michael Ungari and cherished mother of Caitlin and Annabelle, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 19, 2013. She was born in Montreal, Canada to William and Barbara Corrigan and grew up in Ridgewood, NJ. She graduated from Ridgewood High School in 1996 and went to Boston College and completed her undergraduate degree in 2000. Natalie was accepted to the Rutgers University School where she received her law degree in 2004 and was admitted into the New York and New Jersey Bar Associations. She was in-house council at Two Trees Management Company, specializing in Real Estate Law prior to beginning her own law practice to spend more time with her daughters.
Natalie adored the outdoors, especially the beach where she often enjoyed long walks with her family and faithful dog, Logan. Even during a cold New England winter, she made it to the shoreline as much as possible.
In addition to her husband; children and parents, she is survived by her sister, Angela Waugaman and her husband, Seth of Arlington, VA; her father and mother-in-law, James and Nola Ungari of Westport; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Vleaminck and her husband, Mathew of Cincinnati, OH and Catherine Ungari of Westport; as well as many other relatives and close friends.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. directly at St. Luke Church in Westport. Interment will follow. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Rd. in Fairfield Center.
Memorial donations may be made in Natalie's name to the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) at 55 Kenosia Ave., Danbury, CT 06813 or via www.rarediseases.org.

Our deepest sympathy to the Corrigan and Ungari families. We had the pleasure to meet Natalie when we lived in Glen Rock and she attended law school with our daughter, Jenna. After Natalie moved to Hoboken, we enjoyed time at the park and the gym with Natalie and her daughter, Caitlin, when we were caring for our grandchild, Summer. She was a lovely young woman and a wonderful mother.
