Andrew Camelio, beloved husband of Claire (Murphy) Camelio, son of the late Vincenzo and Mary (DiDomenico) Camelio, father, veteran, and coach, passed away on April 3, 2013, after a long and very courageous battle with cancer.

After being awarded a bronze star and honorably discharged from the military in 1972, he returned to New England Telephone where he worked in several management positions and at several locations until his retirement from Verizon in 1998, after which he spent 15 years as a consultant with Technology Solutions Company. While living in Wilton he coached many basketball and baseball teams and was instrumental in creating four new baseball teams, including the Wilton American Legion Post 86 squad.
Besides his wife of more than forty years, he is survived by his son, A.J. of Somerville, MA, and son Stephen and daughter-in-law Wendie of Gardiner, Montana; brother Vincent and his wife Marilyn; sister-in- law Kathleen Kelly and her husband Lawrence Kelly; brother- in-law Kevin Murphy and his wife Stephanie; brother-in-law James Murphy, as well as several nieces and nephews. To Claire and the Camelio family,
I was saddened to learn of Andy's passing and send my condolences to you all. Not sure if you remember me but I worked with Andy at TSC in 1999 and again in 2004. I was very fond of him and have great memories.

To Andy's family: I am so sorry to hear of the loss of this great man. I was fortunate to work remotely with Andy for a couple of years, and even though we never met in person he always impressed me with his professional knowledge, but more than that, with what a wonderful person he was. Andy's family was everything to him, and I learned about all of you through him. May you find some peace in knowing how much Andy impacted everyone he came in contact with. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

To Andy's Family,
I worked with him on the WFEC Project in Anardako, Oklahoma some years back. We also worked out at the same time in their little gym. He was a gracious and encouraging person. I enjoyed working with him.
That GOD will guide and sustain you in the days ahead is my prayer.
