Gordon Kosmicki Obituary
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Curran Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Todd K. Philipsen and Raymond M. Kosmicki will officiate. Private family inurnment will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery with military honors by the United Veterans Honor Guard and the U.S. Army Honor Team.
There will be no visitation; Mr. Kosmicki was cremated.
Mr. Kosmicki was born June 6, 1952, at Grand Island to Richard Z. and Alberta D. (Sautter) Kosmicki.
Survivors of the immediate family two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeff and Tyeisha Kosmicki of San Antonia and Ben Kosmicki of Grand Island; a daughter, Breanna Kosmicki of Shubert; his parents of Grand Island.
Others left to cherish his memory include a granddaughter, Kayla Bertran.
Gordon grew up and received his education in Grand Island. He graduated from Grand Island Northwest High School in 1970. He entered the U.S. Army on Jan. 2, 1975, and served until his honorable discharge on Feb. 28, 1975. He returned to Grand Island to begin his advertising business, selling sport sponsor advertising. He married Jennifer Massey on June 19, 1981, at Grand Island. They lived in Grand Island.
He was an avid Nebraska football fan and enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Peter and Julia Kosmicki, Benjamin and Hulda Sautter.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.

GORDON, you will be sadly missed at the Nebraska Husker's football games. It has been a pleasure knowing you and talking football everytime you came into the VA Medical Center. GO BIG RED!!!!
