Mark Dibbern Obituary
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Peace Lutheran Church in Grand Island with the Rev. Michael Reiners officiating. Burial will be in the Westlawn Cemetery in Grand Island.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church. Apfel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mark Dibbern was born July 25, 1960, at Grand Island, the second of five children to Jerry and Verna (Lautenschlager) Dibbern.
Mark is survived by his parents, Jerry and Verna Dibbern of Wood River; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Randy Dibbern of Kenesaw and Phil and Lori Dibbern of Wood River; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kellie and Doug Wulf of Kearney and Kim and Brad Culley of Olathe, Kan.
Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Lindsay Buechler and her husband, Josh Buechler, of Kearney, Brett Dibbern of Lincoln, Michael Dibbern of Wood River, Sam, Hayden and Hannah Wulf of Kearney, and Sydney Culley of Olathe, Kan.; and one great-niece, Jolie Buechler of Kearney.
Mark attended District 24 School and graduated from Wood River Rural High School in 1978. He participated in football, track and FFA while in high school. He joined the family farming operation following graduation.
He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his nieces and nephew. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
Mark was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Myles and Ethel Dibbern; and his maternal grandparents, Herman and Frieda Lautenschlager.
Memorials can be made to Heartland Lutheran High School or to the donor's choice.

Words cannot express how sorry I am to hear of Mark's passing. He was one of the neatest guys I knew.
