Tyson Zimmer was a 2nd grade classmate of mine. He was the first friend I made going into a new school I knew no one at. I went to the same after school program with him as well. He was a sweet boy. I remember going to the park over by our school and climbing this dinosaur replica with him and just sitting there talking about whatever silly 7 year old's would talk about. We also liked to build legos together. I still think about him to this day. I always wonder about what he'd be doing if he was still here. This year is my last year of high school. I graduate May 26, 2022. This day means a lot to me. Its the day I lost a good friend, Its going to be the day I graduate, and its also the birthday of my father. This May 26th, I plan on visiting him because he would've been in my graduating class. Thank You Tyson, for being a great friend and leaving beautiful memories for me to look back on. I love you buddy.

Dear family of Tyson--I don't know you but saw his sweet picture in the paper and read about his entrance into heaven. May you know the peace and love of God in a special way...."If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable." I Corinthians 15:19

To the family of Tyson. It was such an honor to have met such a strong and vibrant young man. I felt such joy and strength while in his presence. I met Mr. Tyson in Atlanta, GA he was on his way back from Disney heading to see Jason Aldean in concert. I still have the bracelet that his dad gave to me TYSON Say~Fight~Cure from that day I never stopped praying for him. I will continue to wear the bracelet to remind me that Tyson was a fighter. I will continue to pray for the family during this time of loss.

I didn't know Tyson or his family but I heard about his story from Team Jack. Unfortunately Tyson is no longer with us but he will always be a part of his families lives. Tyson was a very brave boy for all that he has gone through and an inspiration to all. RIP Tyson!
