Sheila is predeceased by her father, SgtMaj Chester O. Lane and mother, Beatrice L. Lane. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary V.F.W. Post 961. When she was a teenager, she swam across Cayuga Lake. Sheila loved many things in life such as gardening, surrounding her home with beautiful flowers, swimming and sunbathing at her pool, wintering in Florida, and traveling to Maine where she could eat fresh Maine lobster (her favorite).
