Barclay Porter Obituary
Barclay E. Porter, 37, of Danby and formerly of Ithaca, died June 26, 2017 in Auburn, NY.
He was born May 17, 1980 in Ithaca the son of James & Maureen Porter. He was employed with Northern Mast Climbers of Auburn as working as a roofer/steeplejack.
He is survived by his wife Ashley Cooper of Cortland; 2 sons-Devin & Hayden Porter of Cortland; father James Porter of Danby; sister-Toni Achzey in North Carolina; brother-Trevor Porter of Groton; father & mother-in-law William & Yvonne McKane Cooper of Cortland and a few cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held 7:00 pm Monday July 10, 2017 in the Wade Funeral Home, 22 Church St., Moravia, NY. Visitation will be from 6:00-7:00 pm Monday prior to the service.

To Barclay, I hadn't seen you in years but my fondest memories of you were from the Kosher Dining Hall days and what a sweet soft spoken kid you were. Later in time I always thought you and little Ashley were the perfect match, both sweet and so gental. Ash sweetie my heart hurts for you and the boys, be strong and love those little ones for both of you now, I know your mom is there to help you along the way.
