I worked at the Station Resturant as a bus girl with my friend Cathy Ballantyne. We loved dressing up in our jean skirts and bandannas.
Joe was the best boss he kept us on our toes, and always congratulated us at the end of the night for a job well done.
And he always gave me an ice cream if I stayed extra.I will always remember him.

I was very saddened to hear of Joe's passing, I have many great memories having worked for him for so long, he was so good to Bob, me and the girls. He will be greatly missed by all he touched. I can still picture him running around The Station with that unlit cigar in his mouth and coming up behind you to grab an ear. i will never forget the times he would do that to me while carrying a full tray of dinners (Cate and Sam til this day still can not stand to have there ears messed with)Joe taught me so much back in the day but i never realized it til later on in life. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May God Bless you all during this time. RIP JOE <3

Oh, Joe. I worked at The Station with Joe and Barbara and Terry in the 1990s. What a trip Joe was! I remember one day the chef, Hal, was coring a tomato and Joe came in and was like, "Hal, you don't do it like that." [taking the tomato] "It's not dentistry." He was so funny. RIP Joe.
