Edward Jaquith Obituary
Edward N. Jaquith, 57, of School St., Moravia, NY died Monday December 9, 2013 in Auburn Community Hospital after a long illness surrounded by his loving family. Ed was born October 1, 1956 in Syracuse, NY a son of the late Ivan & Marquerite Block Jaquith. He has been a resident of Locke most of his life and had lived in Moravia for a few years. He received an Honorable Discharge from the US Marine Corp in 1976 and had worked as Head Custodian at the Lansing Central School and most recently for Moravia Central School until his illness. He was a NASCAR fan. He is survived by his wife Linda Austin Jaquith of Moravia; two sons-John in the US Navy at Norfolk, VA and Jarred of Moravia; one daughter-Jessica Jaquith of Moravia; one grandson-Braycin; three brothers-John (Rose) Jaquith, Carl Jaquith both of Canton, PA and Richard Jaquith of South Carolina; three sisters- Marquerite (Gary) Sullivan of Lansing, NY, Catherine (Michael) Wolf of Canton, PA and Suzanne (Ronald) McKinney of Locke and several nieces & nephews. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Wayne Hampton will be held 2:00 PM Saturday December 14th at the Wade Funeral Home, 22 Church St., Moravia. Spring burial will be in Cobb Cemetery, West Groton. Calling hours will be held from 7:00-9:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Linda n family,Ed was always telling jokes,ican still hear his laughter! One of the things I will never forget is when Lansing had a twin day.Little Steven Kilts was Ed's twin.Shiirt,jeans,everything right down to his keys. it was sooooo very funny and they enjoyed it as much as the school did.Rest in peace my friend,you will never be forgotten.

My heart aches for all of you. Your husband and father will be greatly missed by us all. I have many great memories of him throughout the years growing up and since he has been with his great family. I will always be grateful to you all for the love and care you gave my brother through these tough times. We will miss his smile and his good sense of humor, but will always have memories to share.
