David Kouf Obituary
David E. Kouf Sr., passed away on September 18, 2016, at the age of 81.
Born November 23, 1934 in Ithaca, Dave was a son of the late Norman and Emma (Hoffman) Kouf. Dave served in the US Army, and had been employed with, and retired from Lansing Central School District as a custodian. He enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, tending his gardens and feeding the birds.
In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his siblings, Lorraine Goodwin, Duane Kouf, Frances Beach, Vivian Quakenbush and Winifred Frankenstein. He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Priscilla (Mosher) Kouf; their children, Theresa Emerick (Doug) of Lansing, David Kouf, Jr. (Amy Grant) of Lansing; grandchildren, Brian and Brandon Emerick; and a large extended family.
A graveside service, officiated by Pastor Dale Ford, will be held at 11am, Thursday, September 22, 2016, at Lansingville Cemetery, 604 Lansingville Rd., Lansing, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belford Rd., Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
Lansing Funeral Home is assisting the family.
