Roland Slate Obituary
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday February 1, 2010 at McReynolds-Nave-Larson Chapel with Rev Paul Bunger officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday January 31, 2011 and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Roland was born March 12, 1947 in Montgomery County the son of the late Emanual Slate and Louise Elizabeth Garrett Slate.
He was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church and retired from Trane Company.
Survivors include Rose Henry Green, Cedar Hill, his son, Jeffery Slate, Clarksville, Brothers, Thomas Slate and Marshall Slate both of Clarksville, sister Earlene Slate of Dickson, Grandchildren, Jeffery Slate II, Ashlen Slate, Jackson Slate, stepchildren, Matthew Green, Jenny Green, Brittany Green.
Pallbearers will be Jeffery Slate II, Mark Wright, Doyle Wilson, Larry Groves, Arthur Slate, Mickey Jerles.
