On April 1, 2017, Nicholas Calvin McDaniel was called home to be with the Lord. Nick was born Oct. 29, 1937, in Warrenton, NC, to Nicholas Bryant McDaniel and Angalee Rymer McDaniel. He was raised in Clarksville, TN, and graduated from Clarksville High School in 1955. He attended Tennessee Tech in Cookeville for his first year and then attended The US Military Academy at West Point, NY, for 3 years. He later graduated from University of Tennessee, receiving at BS in Engineering 1961 and was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA, receiving a JD in Law in 1965. He was admitted to the Bar in GA and TN. Also, he attended Georgia State University receiving an MBA in Finance in 1975.

Nicholas practiced law in Clarksville, TN, and Atlanta, GA from 1965 - 1975. He then served in senior management positions for various investment security firms for 10 years. After all his experience, he concluded that the service for Christ is the only answer. He joined his wife, Elizabeth, in the operation of Rejoice Bible Book Store for 15 years, until 2008.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and he had no brothers or sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Ray Buyser McDaniel, and he is remembered for what a wonderful life the two of them shared in their later years.

A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Wed, April 12, 2017, at River Bend Baptist Church, 27600 FM 1093, Fulshear, TX 77441.
