WINTER HAVEN - Patricia "Pat" "Meme" Herring Sikes, 58, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on June 7, 2011 of heart failure.
She was born February 14, 1953 in Columbus, GA and moved here from there in 1962. Pat owned and operated Joy Distributing and Sunshine Coffee. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and grand dogs.
She is predeceased by her parents, Jack and Lois Vardeman Herring and survived by her husband, of 39 years, Ray Sikes; daughter, Stephanie (Jamie) Sikes Odom of Winter Haven; nieces, Patti Addkison and Polly (Tye) Bruno, both of Winter Haven; great niece, Ashley Miller of Tampa, FL; and grandchildren, Cadence and Presley Odom both of Winter Haven.
A gathering of friends will be Saturday, June 11, 2011 from 3-5 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Winter Haven. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christian Family and Youth Services, 180 E. Central Ave., Winter Haven, FL 33880 or Humane Society of Polk County, 555 Sage Road, Winter Haven, FL 33881. Condolences may be sent via:www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
