Alma Luck Obituary
LAKELAND - Alma Elizabeth Heffner Luck, 94, passed away April 7th, at Good Shepherd Hospice of natural causes.
Since 1974, Alma has resided in Florida: Poinciana, Lake Wales and for the last fourteen years at the Florida Presbyterian homes complex in Lakeland.
She was born and raised in Scottown, Lawrence Cnty., Ohio. Alma was a mother, homemaker, professional seamstress and fabric store manager, textile artisan, bowler and tournament golfer. With her husband Davis, Alma lived in Georgia, Costa Rica, Virginia, Rhode Island, Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland during their 71 year marriage. Alma is a lifelong member of the MethodistChurch, currently at First United Methodist of Lakeland.
Alma was predeceased by her husband in 2008, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by daughters, Sarah Schiemann (Louis) of Lakeland, Catherine Luck (Mike Roth) of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and Virginia Marple (John) of Bel Air, Maryland; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; one sister, Winne Lind of Cleveland, Ohio, and a sister-in-law Ollie Heffner of Lakeland.
Memorial service at Florida Presbyterian Homes Chapel, Monday April 12th at 11:00 AM.
