LAKELAND - Mr. Dwight Wayne Pittenger, 52, passed away December 2, 2008 at his home in Lakeland.
Mr. Pittenger was a retired Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army, serving for 20 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church at the Mall.
He is survived by his wife Diana Pittenger of Lakeland; sons, Dwight Pittenger, Jr. of Lake Butler, FL, and Joshua Judah of Lakeland, FL; daughters, Alice Miller of Ozark, AL, Amber Marie Schultz of Romeo, MI, Danielle Miller of Lakeland, FL, Breanna Judah of Lakeland, FL; mother, Lorraine Pittenger of Lakeland, FL.; a brother, Timothy Pittenger of Richmond, PA; sisters, Lorraine Diane Carriere of Lakeland, FL and Norma Panther of Lakeland, FL; seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family donations may be made to the First Baptist Church at The Mall, Youth Dept. 1010 E. Memorial Blvd. Lakeland, Fl 33801.
The visitation will be on Friday from 10-11 AM at the First Baptist Church at The Mall. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM.
