Ernest Kazensky Obituary
KAZENSKY, 69
LAKE WALES - Ernest T. Kazensky (Ernie) 69, of Lake Wales, FL passed away early Saturday morning from complications arising from a blood disorder that was diagnosed in January.
Ernie was preceded by his father Theodore Kazensky. He is survived by his mother Ola Kazensky, his wife Tricia Kazensky, his brother Mark Kazensky, sisters Vicki Nelson and Shelli Jump, Son Blake Kazensky and grandson Jake Kazensky.
Ernie retired in 1992 as the Deputy Chief of the Lincoln Park Police department. After relocating to Lakeland in 1993, Ernie worked for Watson Clinic as Chief of Security, and for the Polk Co. Sheriffs Dept.
Ernie was an avid golfer, and a fan of the Detroit Lions.
A memorial service will be held at the Oakwood Golf Club in Lake Wales FL on Monday the 23rd at 7PM.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the MDS foundation in the name of Ernie. The website to the foundation is www.mds-foundation.org
