Aircraft Mechanic
LAKELAND - Thomas Edward Remillard, 72, of Lakeland, Florida died Saturday, October 17, 2009 from cancer.
Thomas Edward Remillard was born May 10, 1937 in Norfolk, Virginia, and was the youngest son of Lafayette W. and Clara D. Remillard. He enlisted in the United States Air Force after graduating from high school in 1956 and served for four years. He served in US Civil Service as an aircraft mechanic until retirement in 1999.
His survivors are his daughter, Janine A. Webb and her husband Jim Webb, seven grandchildren, and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Bill Remillard and his son, William Edward Remillard.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday (10-23-2009) at the Christ Lutheran Church on Lakeland Hills Blvd. and graveside services will be held at Bushnell Veterans Cemetery, with Pastor Thomas E. Block officiating with military honors.
