CHARLES FARMER Obituary
FARMER, 58
WINTER HAVEN - Charles Farmer, 58, passed away on June 9, 2014, due to cancer. He loved his work in the Citrus Industry. He was a great boxer and loved his time in the ring. He was also very active with his family and coached several softball and football teams.
He was preceded in death by his father, Beldon Farmer, he is survived by his wife, Susan Farmer, two daughters, Gidget Farmer of Lancaster, PA, and Ashley Farmer of Winter Haven, his mother, Betty Peebles of Winter Haven, three sisters, Betty Farmer of Auburndale, Sandra Taylor and Carolyn Farmer both of Winter Haven, five grandchildren, one great grandchild, Little Emma Mae, and Several close friends that he considered family.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12th, at 11 am at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Auburndale.

My heart breaks at the loss of such a beautiful man. The love he had for his family was evident in all his words and actions. My children and I are grateful to God that we had to opportunity to know such a kind, compassionate and strong man. We will never forget our adventures at MWHS with you and your family. Although it has been 14 years since I last saw Charles, Susan and Ashley, some of my favorite memories are with you all. Charles was my softball coach when I was 12 years old. He was an amazing man and someone I looked up to. I loved playing ball for him and racing go karts in the orange grove. He will truly be missed by so many! Prayers for you all. RIP.

We will love and miss you terribly Charles. I remember the time Ashley pitched to you and hit you square in the forehead. You went all day without it bothering you and when we finally got home and started swimming you passed out and had to be rushed to the hospital. You were an awesome softball coach friend father and all around man. RIP

He leaves a huge hole in his family's life since he was such a forceful presence. Thankfully he was part of a very strong family that will continue to celebrate the life he led while proceeding to reach their own dreams. Uncle Charles was a fighter and so should we all be.
