Floyd Boone Obituary

Boone's Wholesale NurseryPLANT CITY -- Mr. Floyd M. Boone of Plant City died Sunday (June 19, 2005) of Parkinson's disease in Plant City. He was 62.Born on Feb. 18, 1943 in Plant City, he was a lifelong resident. He was the owner of Boone's Wholesale Nursery since 1977. He was an Air Force veteran. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.Mr. Boone is survived by his wife, Catherine Faye Boone; son, Charlie Floyd Boone, Plant City; daughter, Julie Kaye Boone Daech, Auburn, Ky.; parents, Floyd W. and Dorothy Boone, Plant City; brother, Dennis Boone, Alma; sisters, Elsie Mize, Knoxville, Tenn., Carol Graham, Plant City, Fae Knight, Land O' Lakes, Suzi Yarbrough, Land O'Lakes; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wells Memorial Chapel, Plant City. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
