DIAMANTINA GALLAGA Obituary
MERCEDES- Diamantina B. Gallaga, 84, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. She was prededed in death by her husband, Ricardo Gallaga, Sr. and 1 brother Eveltino Benavides S., Sr. She is survived by two sons, Juan Pablo (Yolanda) Gallaga of Converse, TX, Ricardo Gallaga, Jr. of Mercedes and 1 daughter, Alma Estefana (Ezzat) Sido of Mercedes. Also surviving is one brother, Juan De Dios (Ma. De La Luz) Benavides Salinas of Monterrey, N.L. Mexico, 3 grandchildren, Omar Lee (Rebecca) Gallaga, Pablo Joel Gallaga and Elizabeth Deynaita Sido and 2 great-grandchildren, Lilly Grace Gallaga and Carolina Noelle Gallaga, 3 nephews and 1 niece. Visitation will begin today, Jan. 10, 2012 from 10:30 am till 9 pm. Funeral service will be Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012 at 10 am at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Weslaco, burial will follow at Baptist Cemetery in Mercedes. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Garcia & Trevino Funeral Home of Mercedes.

May Mrs. D. Gallaga be with the lord Jesus Christ and my mom Epifania E. de Anda and my daughter Epilup and son Tony Sepulveda. May the Lord Jesus Christ console Juan Pablo, Alma and Ricky in their time of need. May they have peace in their heart and know that there mom is in a wonderful place with her husband and the Lord Jesus Christ. I know your hurt cuz I've been there.
