Jaime Gutierrez Obituary
MISSION - Jaime Alexander Gutierrez, Jr. 16 of Mission passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2009, at McAllen Medical Center and was presently survived by his wife; Melissa P. Gutierrez; parents, Jaime and Nancy Gutierrez; siblings, Neidy Elizabeth Munoz and Stephanie Gutierrez; paternal grandmother, Maria Gutierrez, all of Mission, Texas; maternal grandparents, Humberto Munoz and Amelia Mendez of Monterrey, N.L. Mexico; paternal uncles, Manuel Gutierrez and Juan Gutierrez, both of Mission, Texas, Maternal aunt and uncles, Amelia Munoz, Humberto Munoz, and Edgar Munoz, all of Monterrey, N.L. Mexico.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, from 3 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. The funeral chapel service will be held on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009, 3 p.m. with Rev. Jose Guadalupe Reyes officiating. Iinterment will follow to Roselawn Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.

No existen palabras tal vez de consuelo en este momento para con ustedes, pero quiero que sepan que estan en mis oraciones diariamente. Dios es el unico que puede y quiere darnos el consuelo que necesitamos en momentos como este, recuerden que tienen a un pueblo muy grande a su lado. Jaime solamente nos tomo la delantera y nos estaremos reuniendo con el un dia, el fue plantado como buena semilla y dara fruto al 100 p/uno.

Jimmy, I will never forget your smile. Thank you for all the funny moments that we shared. Your wife was a very lucky person to have a sweet husband like you. My deepest condolences for the loss of your son. This touches my heart because I also lost one of my sons, age 19 in 1978. No, you will never forget him because he was your "baby boy," and he will be forever. There are really no words to touch your grief, and you will have questions, but the Lord giveth and take it away. He let you have him for 16-years of happiness; now he is with Him. He is one of His beautiful angels, because he was a very handsome young man. My condolences to his young wife also. May God give you the strength to survive this mournful ordeal. I was born and raised in Mission, but I left in 1962.
