DANIEL M. PALOMO MISSION - Daniel M. Palomo, 97, went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2014 at Mission Nursing & Rehab Center in Mission. He was born in Beeville, Texas on January 3, 1916 to Eulogio Palomo and Cruz Moreno and was preceded in death by his loving wife, Hilaria Perez. He was a long time resident of Mission, Texas. Mr. Palomo is survived by his daughters, Maria Cristina (Ismael) Reyna, Gloria Vega; his grandchildren, Rolando (Susan) Reyna, Ricardo (Ludy) Reyna, Elizabeth (Guillermo) Gonzalez, Beatrice (Manuel) Vega, Guillermo (Cindy) Vega; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister Josepha Garcia. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2014 at Flores Chapel A in Mission. Funeral mass will be officiated Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
