Joseph Bleise Obituary
Feb. 17, 1935-June 13, 2013
Joseph Francis Bleise, age 78, of Weidman, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2013, at the Woodland Hospice.
A Funeral Mass for Joe will be held at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Patrick Jankowiak officiating. The Rite of Committal will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 16, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the church, with a Vigil for Joe at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodland Hospice or to St. Joseph the Worker School. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel and St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.
Joe was born on February 17, 1935, in Beal City, the son of William and Helen (Bierschbach) Bleise. He married Carol Mae Miller on September 7, 1957 at St. Philomena Church, in Beal City. Joe was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus of Beal City. He dearly loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Joe is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carol; children, Dale (Gail) Bleise, Jim (Michelle) Bleise, Janet Bleise, all from Weidman, Connie (Tom) Weisser of Watertown, WI, Bill (Carrie) Bleise, and Roxanne (Brian) Schafer, both of Weidman; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Bush of Rockford, IL and Marilyn (Jack) Theisen of Beal City; sister-in-law, Mary Anne Bleise of Minnesota; and brother-in-law, Don Peltier of Mt. Pleasant.
Joe was preceded in death by two children, Donald and Joseph Bleise; granddaughter, Bobbie Jo Bleise; parents; sisters, Agnes South, Rita Peltier, and Rose Cassidy; brothers, Bob (Alberta) Bleise and William Bleise.

So sorry for the loss of Joe. I considered him a good friend and he was very helpful to me in times when I needed it. I will miss his stories and his driving by on his daily trips to the "mountain" :)
