Mark Hilfman

Hilfman, Mark M.; 63; of Coleman; died Thursday December 24, 2015 at the MidMichigan Medical Center, Midland. He was born August 15, 1952 in Toronto, Ontario the son of the late Lloyd and Edith (Weir) Hilfman. Mark married his wife Barbara November 17, 2001 in Orillia, Ontario. He worked as a long haul trucker retiring from Northern Dry-Bulk in October of 2011. He enjoyed playing guitar, driving truck, and visiting historical sites all over the country. Survivors include his wife, Barbara of Coleman; children, Beth Kent of Hillsdale, ON, Nicole Hilfman of Hope, BC, Michael Hilfman of Montreal, QC, James Hilfman of Montreal, QB; grandchildren, Payton and Mayson; sisters, Janis and Paul Gillrie of Tampa, FL, Karen and Alan Millson, Orillia ON, Wendy and Rick Roman of Linoshead ON, Bernie and Stan Hartshorn of Apache Junction, AZ; and his two pets, Lincoln and Callie. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday December 30, 2015 at the Coleman Wesleyan Church, with Rev. Jack Steenbergh officiating. Burial will take place in the Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman. Friends may call at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday starting at 10 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials may be directed to the family.
