One of the biggest joys of my life was performing with David in Forbidden Broadway. We never stopped laughing. I last saw him as Santa Claus in an ice show in California in (I think) 2014. It was as if time hadn´t passed since I left NOLA in 1988. He was a friend and a wonderful person to perform with. SO missed!

I met David when I worked at The Bombay Club in 1991. I really enjoyed working with him. The last time I saw him was at a show at NORD in Gallier Hall. I introduced him to my wife. Needless to say he was as charming as always. Goodbye David.

We became facebook friends when I responded to a photo with a philosophical message. He always responded to me with a deeper message.I wish I could have known him. I will miss him very much. As I contemplate about life's meaning,David Tringali will help me remember the saying:"The un-examined life is not worth living."

I am so sorry that I will not be there to celebrate your life my dear and long time friend. I have known David (or as I so fondly called him, my Davida)for over 40 years almost 45. We did many, many shows together. I so loved him. I will miss him forever. I know he is at peace now and know we will meet again.

I'm just heartbroken to hear this news. BUT there isn't a doubt in my mind that he is in Heaven where he will never experience pain, discomfort or sorrow ever again - only eternal JOY! Saying many prayers for the loved ones he has left behind. Stay strong in your faith - everyone will be reunited again one day!

My heart both aches and soars for you David. I know you don't want us to grieve for you as you and Billie are now reunited yet I miss just knowing your awesomeness is not on this earthly plane with us any longer. Yet I rejoice that you are out of pain and heartache.
I know that big stage in the sky is glowing brighter than I could have ever lit it with a thousand lights with your presence there now. I will never forget your antics both on and offstage. I am so proud to have worked and known you for the years we had together. I always thought that my honeybun number rocked it till you did it at Le Petite. You were the ultimate Honeybun!!
Que 99, lights fade out on the earthly stage; Que 100 lights up on the big stage in the sky!

David was new orleans theatre. But more recently david has been a facebook friend in every sense of the word. he posted and responded to your posts, and you came to care for him and his health issues. he was such a fighter, but you knew how much he missed billy. now he can rest in peace with him. he had a deep faith in God, and was never afraid to share it. I will miss him on facebook and I know he will be missed.

My dear friend, my heart is broken. Thank you for being a shining light in our lives. Your friendship brought me great love and laughter. Although you never complained, you suffered and struggled very much the last years of your life. Knowing you are at peace now, gives me comfort. Your strong faith has brought you straight into the loving arms of our Lord. Rest in peace, good and faithful servant.
