Though we've never met, my thoughts and prayers continue to be with you. I can't begin to imagine your pain and sense of loss at this time.
I worked with Mr. Hanlon at Southern Savings many years ago. He was always one of my favorites-- such a gentleman, with his distinct voice and laugh. I know you all miss him and your older son as well.

I am so sorry for your lose and I send my condolences and prays to you and your family. It was very shocking and a sad day when I had heard the news of him being in an car accident and then passing away. He was a great friend and always had a positive attitude that would rub off on everyone that he came in contact with. Its so sad to see a member of the Spartan family go, but I know he is up in Heaven watch over all of us. R.I.P Daniel Hanlon you will always be in our hearts.

Daniel was a kind, loving, caring and giving young man who had a positive effect on so many young people and others who knew him. His dedication to youth, especially in football and powerlifting, was second to none. The Pope John Paul II High School community was very fortunate to have him teach and coach there.
Daniel lived God"s command to "love one another".

I am so so very sorry for your loss. My last visual memory of Daniel was him sitting in the living room with Christopher holding Casey and thinking to myself he looks just like a miniature John L Hanlon.

We were so blessed and grateful to have known and worked with Daniel at PJP. He was such a great person, teacher, and coach. Daniel will be missed by so many he touched during his young career. Coach Hanlon became a part of our AES family just this year. He was a bit quiet at first taking in his new surrondings and co-worksers. Over the last few weeks he just fit right in, our kids loved him and he made all the wives feel right at home as we watched ESPN with him during our lunch break:) He was just a genuinely nice guy and we will miss him. His time with us was brief but long enough for us to know he was a SPECIAL kind of Guy! Rest In Paradise Coach! We will miss you:)

Daniel was on our Cultural Arts team at Davies. All my memories of teaching with him are happy ones and the kids loved him SO much. He was full of heart and it was evident that he experienced happiness within so many areas of his life. He impacted the kids' life even just by being himself. Good Memories from work especially team teaching PBIS every Friday with the CA team- He supported us and lived the principle of teamwork. He also took the time to get to know so many members of our school staff, even if he didn't work directly with them. He was always willing to help when asked. The way he taught those kids to believe in themselves is what will live on. The world lost a good guy, but his legacy lives on in the students whose lives he touched for the better. Sending my deepest condolences to your family and to Haley. May you find peace in knowing that he made a difference in the world.

Even though Daniel was only on my staff for 2 short years at Davies Elementary, he was a very beloved member of our Davies Family. His ready smile and friendly disposition drew people to him. He was loved by our staff and students. I have to say that he really made a huge impact on the students he coached at CHS, too. Daniel may be gone but he won't soon be forgotten.
