Ronald James Gasser

Ronald James Gasser passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015, at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of Mary Short Gasser. Loving father of Ronnie Gasser. Step Father of Gina Richoux (Darryl), and Colleen Songy (Jerry). Son of the late Linda Mae Niemer Gasser and August Gasser. Brother of the late James "Jim" Gasser. Grandfather of Candice Bua Gasser. Step Grandfather of Jeremy and Stacy Songy, Rebecca, Austin, Laura, and Danielle Richoux. He was employed by Blue Cross/Blue Shield for 30 years as an insurance agent. He was a native of Cincinnati, OH, and a resident of Gretna, LA, for 35 years and of Metairie, LA, for the past 6 years. Relatives and Friends of the family also employees of Blue Cross/Blue Shield are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA, on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at 1 pm. Pastor Mitch Mares of Metairie Baptist Church will officiate. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 10 am until 1 pm.
