Bobbie Webre Obituary

Bobbie Crotwell Webre (Granny B), age 81, of Jefferson, Louisiana, passed peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 9:50pm at The Gardens Of Montverde Assisted Living Home in Montverde, Florida. Bobbie was born in Mississippi on November 13, 1933. She was married to Marcel Dennis Webre for 36 years and loving mother to Kenny, Paul and Scott. She is predeceased by Marcel and her eldest son, Kenneth Lee Dodgen (Maria Dodgen) and many siblings. She is survived by her sons, Paul Dennis Webre (Lori Webre) and Scott Clifford Webre, three granddaughters, Holly Dodgen VanScyoc, Ashton Elizabeth Webre, and Haley Catherine Webre, and two great granddaughters, Victoria Lynn VanScyoc and Alexandra Leann VanScyoc. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. Bobbie spent her earlier years working as a book keeper for various jewelry companies, including Zales and Southern Rings as well as raising her 3 sons. She spent her later years enjoying her granddaughters and taking care of various family members over the years. She was a dedicated caregiver and amazing cook. Bobbie was a resident of the New Orleans area for over 50 years. Two years ago she moved to central Florida with her son's family and has enjoyed painting pottery and going to ride Dumbo at Disney's Magic Kingdom. She had a grand time riding the boats of the Jungle Cruise too! Bobbie Webre's life will be celebrated on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home in Metairie followed by internment at Garden of Memories on Airline Drive. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm with a service at 1pm and internment immediately following. An online guestbook is available at www.leitzeaganfuneralhome.com.
