Val Lachica Obituary

Val Thomas Lachica passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, Baton Rouge, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 16, 1958 in New Orleans, LA to Lillian Angelo Lachica and the late Valeriano M. Lachica, Jr. He was 58 years old. Val is survived by his sisters, Sandra Ann Lachica, Gina Lachica Laigast (Donald) and Cindy Lachica Robertson (Charlie); nieces and nephews, Jason Lachica, Christie Bruno, Lindsey Robertson, Seth Laigast, Megan Robertson Dore, Brooke Laigast, D.J. Laigast and Paul Robertson. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. He was a long time resident of Baton Rouge. Val had a love for music, especially rock & roll. He also enjoyed Al Pacino movies. Val will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Funeral arrangements will be private.
