Donovan Chopin Obituary

Donovan "Dula" Chopin was called home on Monday December 26, 2016 at the age of 30 years. Beloved son of Branette Chopin and Pierre A. Smith. Grandson of Annie Mae Carter and James M. Smith. The talented brother of Marisha Boyce (Edmund), Tazya Young (Mark), Danteria and Darrius Chopin. Donovan will be forever loved and missed by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Pastors, Officers and Members of St. Matthew Baptist Church of New Sarpy, La. and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the home going celebration on Saturday January 7, 2017 at 12 pm at St. Matthew Baptist Church 604 East Johnson St. New Sarpy, La. where the pastor is Rev. Fred T. Porter; Bishop Otis Kenner is officiating. Interment in New Sarpy Cemetery. Visitation will be at the above name church from 10:00 am until service time. Bardell's Mortuary of Mt. Airy, La in charge. Information: 985-535-6837.
