Michael S. Pollet Jr.

Michael S. Pollet Jr, native of New Orleans and resident of Baton Rouge passed away on April 18th 2017. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Michael was known as a brilliant historian, worldwide traveler, protector of animals (Eli, Dixie, and Jumper), and avid technology enthusiast. His education took him to studies at Tulane, Loyola, LSU, and SLI. His life's career was with the Department of Food and Drug for the State of Louisiana. He was a proud grandfather of Nicholas Pollet, Spencer Pollet, Ross Pollet, Harrison Pollet, Emma Pollet, Peyton Stuart, and Catherine Stuart. He is survived by his children: Michael S. Pollet III and wife, Christina Pollet(Folsom La.), Marcel P. Stuart and husband, Randy Stuart(Baton Rouge, La), and Rene C. Pollet, and wife Dana Pollet(Spanish Fort, Ala.). Also, he is survived by his brother, Clement J. Pollet, Sr. and wife Sue Ellen Pollet(Tomball, Tx). He is preceded in death by his parents, Michael S. Pollet, Sr., and Clemence Burkenstock Pollet and sister, June P. Shelton(Longview, Tx); and his beloved wife, Ethelene C. Pollet(Plaucheville, La.). Love goes out to devoted Barbara McCormick.
