Peter S. 'Petepaw' Campise

Peter "Petepaw" S. Campise passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the age of 58. Beloved husband of Reneé Campise. Loving father of Zachary and Alexander Campise and stepfather of Barry Mendelson and Erica Schunior (Michael). Proud grandfather of Charlotte and Iris Campise and step grandfather of Kylie and Kara Rodriguez. Son of Edith Campise Ryder and the late Peter S. Campise Sr. Brother of Connie Patterson (Nick), Debbie Campise (Tim Charlet), Fran Blackledge (John), Krystal Campise, and Stephanie Campise. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Pete was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Kenner, LA for many years. He was employed by numerous engineering firms; most recently being employed by MSMM Engineering, LLC for the past two years. The family would like to extend a special thanks to LA Hospice and Palliative Care and Passages Hospice for their care of Pete during his illness. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until service time. Interment will be at a later date in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
