Udine Stafford Jenkins passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017 in Covington, LA. She was born in Franklinton, LA on Sunday, July 1, 1928 to Agnes Passman and Eli Stafford and was a longtime resident of Bedico. The beloved wife of the late Louis Richard Jenkins, she is survived by two daughters - Sharon Dupuy (Jessie) and Patricia Reffner (Paul); her brother - Raymond Stafford; three grandchildren - Stephen Reffner, Jessie Dupuy, Jr., Kelly Dupuy Pichon; and three great grandchildren - Brennan Simoneaux, Hunter Davis and Alivia Pichon. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and three sisters - Claudette Haley, Elaine Revere and Jeanette Rich. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Midway Baptist Church, 42111 Fire Tower Road Ponchatoula, LA 70454. A wake is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 6-9:00 PM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433. Visiting hours at Midway Church on Monday will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment at the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery will follow the services in the church.
