Maxine Marie Colvin

FREMONT: Maxine Marie Colvin, 88, of Fremont, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at her home.

She was born on September 20, 1926 to Albert and Sylvia (Mapes) Wright in Mansfield, OH.

Maxine graduated from Mansfield High School and became a LPN. She then went on to own and operate Diamond View Nursing Home. Maxine enjoyed taking trips to Florida, going to flea markets, gardening, and fishing. She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Maxine is survived by her companion of many years, Jerry Druyor; son, Bob Colvin of Fremont; granddaughter, Mandi Colvin (Scott) Lyons; great-granddaughter, Channelle Lyons; granddaughter Yvonne (Dean) Anderson; great-grandson, Dalton Anderson; daughter, Shari (Mike) Beier of Perrysburg; grandson, Michael (Karen) Beier; great-grandsons, Austin and Blaise Beier; granddaughter, Lisa (Marty) Mesler; great-grandson, Maxwell Mesler; grandson, Matthew (Gayle) Beier; great-granddaughter, Abigail Beier; grandson, Jason (Heather) Beier; and great-grandchildren, Anne Marie and George Beier.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Al Wright; and sister, Marjorie Mergel.

Visitation will be held at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 9-11a.m. Funeral Services will follow at the funeral home beginning at 11 a.m. Certified Celebrant Susann Robitski-Zimmerman will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

The family would like to extend their deep gratitude to Hospice of ProMedica Memorial Hospital for their special care shown towards Maxine and also to their family and friends who have shown their concern and support.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of ProMedica Memorial Hospital or the American Lung Association.
