Judith Asbury Obituary
She was a native of Elizabethtown and a member for 22 year of Vine Grove Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walton and Christine Shanks; her husband, Otis J. Asbury; a daughter, Donna Jean Mills; three brothers, Walton Jr., Forrest and J.C. Shanks; and three sisters, Linda Snyder, Dorothy Buck and Joan Clater.
She is survived by a daughter, Loretta Roden of Elizabethtown; a sister, Janet Armstrong of Vine Grove; six grandchildren, Tara Love, Gary Allen (Kim) Love, Shawn (Vickie) Love, April Snider, Melissa King and Natalie (Miller) Boley; 14 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 7, at Vine Grove Baptist Church with Brother Larry Vance officiating. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continues at 9 a.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Vine Grove Baptist Church Building Fund.

Heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise found at 1 Thessalonians 4:14 will bring you comfort. Knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death can be reassuring.
