Marlene Abraham Obituary
A life celebration for Mrs. Marlene Posey Abraham, 83, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 30, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Jon Tellifero officiating. A private family graveside service will be held at Alto Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Abraham passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Marlene was the quintessential southern lady; the rarest combination of grace, poise, and elegance. Any effort to encapsulate the worth of her extraordinary life on this page would not do sufficient justice to her legacy. Thus, we will not make the attempt.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
The family would like to express thanks for the extraordinary care and support provided by First Choice Hospice and St. Joseph's Hospice. A special debt of gratitude is owed to Lauren Walker (St. Joseph's Hospice) for her angelic presence through the recent weeks.
