James Sisson Obituary
Mr. Sisson was born on January 10, 1932, and passed away on November 18, 2010 in Bastrop, Louisiana.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Sisson and Eunie Herrington Sisson and sister Jimmie Doris Smith.
Mr. Sisson is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betty Rogers Sisson of Bastrop; daughters Michelle Sisson of Austin, Texas and Jennifer Soper and husband Rob of Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Sisson was a graduate of Bonita High School and attended Northeast State College and Louisiana Tech. After serving in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict, he was employed by Texas Gas Transmission for 37 years. He was a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church.
In Lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital or charity of choice.
