Frances Elizabeth Johnson Lint

Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Johnson Lint, 97, of Shreveport, Louisiana, died Friday June 24, 2011 at the Spring Lake Guest Care Center in Shreveport.

Mrs. Lint was a native of Ashley County, AR; a resident of Shreveport, Louisiana since 2002 and a former resident of Bastrop, Louisiana and Canton, Ohio. She graduated from Bonita High School and was the Valedictorian of her class. She was a registered nurse, a graduate of the Baylor School of Nursing and a veteran of the United States Army Nursing Corp having served during World War II. She was a member of the White Avenue Baptist Church in Bastrop, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren Dalton Lint in 1979; her father and step-mother, Jeff and Aura Johnson; her mother, Allie Kidwell Johnson and her half sister, Polly Johnson Calhoun.

She is survived by her niece and care-giver, Statia Neel of Shreveport, Louisiana; a step-daughter, Sondra Green of New Braunfels, Texas; a brother-in-law, Dallas Yates Calhoun III of Shreveport, Louisiana; a nephew, Dallas Yates Calhoun IV of Austin, Texas and the Akers family of Hamburg. A special thank you to her sitters, Ruby & Cynthia. Graveside services and burial will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2011 in the Hamburg Cemetery with Dr. Bobby Pennington officiating. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg. Online guest book at www.jones-hartshorn.com

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
