C.a. Hollingsworth Obituary
Funeral Services for Mr. C.A. Hollingsworth, 83, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, October 19, 2013 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Kevin Ropp and Doug Wall officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA.
Mr. Hollingsworth was born on August 1, 1930 and passed away on October 15, 2013 after a short illness. C.A. retired from Olinkraft Paper Co. and is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Bobbie Hollingsworth; parents, Clarence and Jessie Hollingsworth; son, Dennis Hollingsworth; grandson, Brandon Dempsey and sister, Maxine Brown.
Survivors include his daughter, Belinda Dempsey and R.L. Axton; grandson, Grafton Dempsey and wife, Lisa; great granddaughter, Kimberlyn Dempsey; sisters, Mary Lee Wright and husband, Truman, Vera Eady and husband, Harvey and Oline Parker; and his special friends, Hurbert Perry, J.L. Milby and Larry White.
Pallbearers will be Mickey Whitten, Freddie Whitten, Scott Williams, Kirk Williams, Mike Eady, Rich Jacobs, Shane Wright, and Greg Freeland. Honorary Pallbearers will be Hurbert Perry, J.L. Milby and Roy Parker.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, October 18, 2013 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Ronnie Hollingsworth, and to the staff of Hospice Compassus, especially Cindy Joiner and Rev. Tony Smith for the great care given during this time.
