Glynn Blankinship Obituary
Graveside services for Mr. Glynn E. Blankinship, Sr., age 75, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of West Monroe.
Glynn was a retired conductor of the Union Pacific Railroad. He also served in the United States Navy and was a Free Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Susie May Griffin Blankinship; sons, Jerry Blankinship and his wife, Tina and Glynn Blankinship, Jr., and Ricky Blankinship and his wife, Janet; sister, Kathy Walker; brother, William "Bill" White; granddaughters, Hailey Blankinship Johnson, Susan Blankinship, Kelly Blankinship; grandsons Zachary Blankinship, Ricky M. Blankinship and Daniel Blankinship and 5 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Pirtle, Michael Holmes, John Traylor, Kenny Covington, James "Buzz" Townsend and Buddy Towns.
