Doris Pasono Obituary
Doris V Pasono, age 99, of Oshkosh, WI passed away on Sunday June 25 in Arlington Heights, IL. Doris, the daughter of the late Kurt and Elizabeth Zentner, was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Wilfred E Pasono. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper at the Wisconsin Axel Credit Union. She is survived by her three daughters, Susan (Edmund) Wohlmuth, Janet (Gregg) Gottgetreu, and Karen (John) Stremikis, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers Walter (late Doris) Zentner and William (Muriel) Zentner, sister-in-law LaDonne Zentner and many nieces and nephews. Predeceasing her were her brothers Donald Zentner and Kurt (late Margaret) Zentner, and her two sisters Jane (late David) Barnard and Ruth (late Milton) Bradford. She will be missed by many friends at Carmel Residences and Gabriels Villa as well as many bridge groups she so enjoyed.
Memorial Visitation Saturday July 8th, 1:00 pm followed by a 2:00 pm Life Celebration Service at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road) Wheeling. Inurnment services will be held in Oshkosh, WI at Riverside Cemetery on Thursday July 13 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude (St. Vincent) Parish in Oshkosh, JourneyCare Hospice (Barrington, IL) or a charity of your choice. The family would also like to thank JourneyCare of Barrington and My Solutions of Arlington Heights for their loving and tender care of mom in her last few months with us. Dear Sue, Janet, and Karen,
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. As I read her obituary, I couldn't help but think of the many years our mothers enjoyed talking, laughing, and playing cards in their Club.
