I have been reading your story since this time last year. My heart broke for you and your sweet children....I could feel your pain through your words. I prayed for all of you....I am so sorry that you have had to endure this tragedy in your life. I want you to know that you are an inspiration to so many. You are going forward....continuing to allow God to work in your life. Your children are blessed to have you as their mother. There is no question in my mind that Jeremy is watching over all of you. Veronica,. I share your pain. I just recently lost my wife Carolyn of 45 years. Your grief will be a personal journey. One which you must pick your own road to walk alone. You will never get over this loss. However, in time, you will get through this. God is a loving God. Right now you probably do not understand His timing in all of this? It is not meant for us to understand God, just keep looking to Him for strengh. I hurt with you. I meet Jeremy at the last Youth In Action Forum at OCC. Try to imagine what God has in store for Him. My heart hurts for you & your family. Our family suffered an awful tragedy 22 months ago. My daughter's husband & father in law were killed in a plane crash. When I was in Michigan in September for Owen's birthday I remember thinking how much I enjoyed worship that Sunday I was there when Jeremy led the praise team. My heart goes out to you...
Sweet Jesus, please bless the broken heart of our dear sister Veronica. Help her to feel your precious arms around her as she deals with this great loss in her life and bring her a touch of peace today. There are no words that can describe the feelings of deep sorrow when something like this happens. There are no words that can truly comfort you all right now. God alone can bring you through this - with the help of his earthly servants. We pray that in time you will begin to feel that comfort. It will take much time but allow others to help to carry you all through. We want you to know you have been and will be constantly on our minds and in our prayers. Veronica, we really haven't gotten to know you but you and your precious children will be brought before our Father every day. Gary and I deeply sorry for such a tragic loss. Jeremy was truly a special person. We loved his humor and passionate desire to sing and serve and always looked forward to hosting the Autumn group when they were in our area. I am thankful that he, as well as his wife Veronica, were friends with our son and that we were privileged to get to know him. He will truly be missed. Veronica, I am deeply saddened about this loss. I know what it's like to have your heart ripped out of you but still having to breath because of the baby. I lost my husband back in December '08. Two months before our son was to be born in Feb (much like yourself). I know it may be a year or more before you read these statements on here but, know that you're not alone. God WILL see you through this... He has done (and continues to) so for me and my two (ages 6 and 1 yr old now) and He will do so for you and your little ones. Jeremy! I will Always remember the great memories we shared at work. Great times in Winter, the funny videos we watched on youtube, the hockey videos, hunting videos etc. You have been a great friend to me or more so a close brother. Jeremy was an amazingly tender spirit who carried Christ wherever he went. He was our first official "greeter" when we came to live at RC in 2002 and showed us the true meaning of laughter.
