COLTRAIN, CHRISTOPHER RANDALL, SR.; of Leslie, MI.; December 15, 2015; age 66; born February 18, 1949 in Pontiac, MI. Son of the late Mary Hill; loving and dedicated husband of Lynn Coltrain for 41 years; father of Christopher Randall Coltrain, Jr. (Stacey), Shaun Thomas Coltrain, Kenzie Alyse March (Lee) and the late Erin Renee Coltrain; grandfather of Christopher III, Savannah, Zachary, Thomas, Carter, Dana, Hunter, Michael, Trenton, Memphis, Giuliana and a granddaughter due in March; brother of Peggy Richards (Jim) and the late Tom Wilson (Betty) and Lola Rivers; also survived by numerous nephews and a niece. Mr. Coltrain served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Christopher enjoyed taking construction classes and tinkering and was an avid sports fan. A Celebration of Christopher’s Life will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2015, 12 Noon at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home, Waterford. Interment with Honors to follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
