Arlene Ruth Obituary

Arlene Rosenberger Ruth 4/14/17 - 4/10/11
(Yes, that is almost
94 years old)

Our witty, ornery, wise, kind, loving, and faithful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, GG, Miss Arlene has entered into the arms of our loving Father.
Having battled the odds for several years she became one of the longest surviving hospice care patients. This was not surprising to her friends and family who knew her to be tenacious, stubborn, and strong.
Arlene is survived by her daughters Margaret Lord, Jennean Sablan, Annie Rosenberger, and her grandchildren Scott, Elaine, Daniel, Randel, Jennifer, Joel, Mary, Arlene, Ryan, Katie, her 18 great-grandchildren, as well as the beloved spouses of each of the above.
Arlene was preceded in death by her loving husband Winston Warren Rosenberger to whom she was married for 59 years. She was also preceded in death by Harold Ruth whom she married in 1997 and remained happily married to until his death in 2004. Arlene's son George Warren Rosenbeger also took his place in heaven prior to his mother through his passing in 2009.
A family burial will take place on April 15, 2011 which will be followed by a memorial service to celebrate Arlene's life at 3:00p.m. at Olympia Bible Baptist Church located at 704 Delphi Road SW, Olympia, WA.
While we rejoice in knowing our beloved is with her Lord, we will always miss her sparkling blue eyes.

She was a rare lady. Her gracious ways were contagious. Everyone who knew her became better because of it. We who knew her carry a piece of her better character in us. She was a wonderful family matriarch. Her descendents attest to that. She lived and taught the basic tenant of love your neighbor as yourself. Our world is better because of her.
