I was so lucky to have worked with Gay in the Olympia Social Security Office. I see her expressive eyes and laugh - and she was so much help to me as a new supervisor! I enjoyed seeing her in town, and at Gee Gee's while she lived in Yelm. Gay was a gem, and I send love and memories to her family.

I feel very fortunate to have reunited with Gay last year after many years. We had lunch and a wonderful visit. She felt we were reunited for a reason: we were both battling cancer. She was just as sweet and beautiful as she was in high school. I'll miss her. Kristie Bigelow Maupin, Cosmopolis

Having known Gay for MANY years, I'm deeply saddened to hear of her passing from this earth...ALWAYS I thought we'd have many more periodic lunch visits to reminisce of the "old days", sharing stories of our kids, horses, and working for SSA. She'll always hold a special place in my heart with all the warm memories. Godspeed Gay...and my condolences to your family.
