MOM, YOU ARE THE ANCHOR THAT HAS KEPT OUR FAMILY TOGETHER
Born March 3, 1929, in Tacoma, Washington and passed away February 9, 2011.
Beverly believed in and lived by the Golden Rule: "Due unto others as you would have them do unto you."
She was a loving, caring, creative and talented mom, grandma, great-grandma and friend. Everyone who knew Bev, loved her.
Bev taught herself to sew at the age of twelve. Throughout her life she has sewn wedding gowns, formals and school clothes. She quilted, had knitting and crochet talents as well. Creating and sewing dolls and doll clothing and numerous other crafting interests. Her talents extended to oil paintings of which is one of her most beautiful legacies.
Bev and Scotty (her husband of 38 plus years) worked as caretakers at the Olympia Yacht Club for a number of years. They so enjoyed working and visiting with the members. Upon retirement, Bev remained in Olympia until her stroke in 2006. At which time she has lived in Anchorage, Alaska, with her daughter and son-in-law.
Bev will be remembered by her brother, William (Bill) Gephart and wife Mary, daughter Sherri Gonsioroski and husband Alan of Anchorage, Alaska, sons Gary Scott and wife Debbie of Olympia, Washington and Dan Scott and wife Carol of Henderson, Nevada and Jay Dayton, who is like a son, and wife Barbara of Adna, Washington, her fourteen grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several Very Special Friends.
There will be a gathering for family and friends on Sunday, March 6, 2011, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at 5919 Pacific Ave, Lacey, Washington.
MOM, ALTHOUGH YOU WILL BE DEEPLY MISSED HERE, NOW YOU CAN BE AT PEACE AND WITH DAD!

Grandma, we will all miss you. You were their when I was born, raised me as your own. So much so that I would call you Mom and MOM ( Grandma ) . Boy was I Confused. You and Grandpa were a big part of my life and who I am now.

Now you're in Heaven resting peacefully with Grampa. No more pain, now I know you're happy again. Even though we will miss you we are happy you are now at peace. We Love you.

Grandma, I miss you. I know you are in a better place, and I know we will see you again some day in heaven. Just knowing that you are up there watching over all of us, makes me feel like you are still here. I did not get to say goodbye to you, and I did not get to tell you that I love you. I hope that you know just how much me and the kids love you. You will be missed. Please tell grandpa hello for us. I sure do miss having coffee with you every day and the kids miss hanging out with you too... We love you and miss you so much.
