Jason Hicks Obituary

Funeral service for Mr. Jason Hicks, 38, will be Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Cox and Dr. Sam Legon officiating with burial to follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 this evening at the funeral home. Mr. Hicks passed peacefully on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at his residence. Mr. Hicks is survived by his father, Gerald Hicks; mother, Patricia Hicks; brothers, Bryan (Teresa) Clark and Eric (Wendy) Clark; nieces, Breanna Clark and Katie Clark; nephews, Jordan Clark, Chad Clark, Cody Clark, Ashton Clark, Jayden Clark and Jaxon Clark; several aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. Mr. Hicks was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman and Doris Smith, and Grady and Inez Hicks; uncle, Gary Smith; nephew, Brandon Clark. Pallbearers will be Eric Clark, Bryan Clark, Jordan Clark, Chad Clark, Cody Clark, Greg Rich, Tyler Rich and Tony Dalrymple. Mr. Hicks was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County where he attended Saks High School Class of 1997. He was employed at Anniston Wal-Mart in the Garden Center. He attended Cornerstone Worship Center. He loved Jesus, family and friends. He was always willing to help others, especially family. Jason truly loved his mother, father and family.
