IT is with great sadness that I write this. Dave was one of a kind. A soft gentle soul, someone whom you immediately felt at home around. It was an honor to have been chosen by Dave to pilot his Golden - Ch Goldenquest's Jaayd to many special wins. My condolences to his family and many friends. Truly a man with a heart of gold, and he will be missed.

We met Dave in 1975 near the start of our life in Goldens. In 1978 we acquired our first male, Kian, from Dave. He was a very special dog in our lives. Dave was a great breeder and always did his research. We will miss our friend and will never forget his contributions to the Golden Retriever breed. Sending our love and prayers to Karin and their family.

So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I met him many years ago and he had a great eye for the golden retriever. I was honoured when he chose my boy Aero to breed to his girls twice. RIP Dave! Allyson Fennell, Riverdance Golden Retrievers.
