Keith, I graduated TAC a couple of years before Brenda, and although I didn't know her very well, I knew her as a pious and cheerful person who was kind and considerate towards everyone. I was truly saddened to hear of her afflictions and her passing.

Dear Keith & Family,
I was so saddened to hear about Brenda this week. I spent many hours with her riding the bus to LFA, playing on the Volleyball team and doing homework. Over the years I frequently ran into her and your Mother around West Vancouver. She was a kind and gentle person and I will remember her fondly. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died; this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world." John 6: 48-51
Brenda is the kind of person you could never forget. We spent several years together at TAC and I loved her curious deep thinking ways just as much as her delightful sense of humor and remarkable love for her neighbor. I am really sorry that we lost touch over the years but look forward to spending eternity together! May we all be consoled by God's great and Divine Mercy!
But glad to have sat under
Thunder and rain with you,
And grateful too
For sunlight on the garden.

Brenda was always ready with a smile and a laugh. Brenda's natural kindness was equally matched by her keen intelligence. I can remember when Brenda brought Where the Wild Things Are to an English class as a favourite of hers and later in life my first thought when asked to read that book to my children was always of Brenda. R.I.P. And you shall be missed.

Condolences to the Roscoe family, this is very sad news for sure. Brenda never thought any less of anyone who didn't have the same intelligence. I remember her patiently guiding me through a few uphill roads during school at LFA. I'm glad that you chose to her struggles in her obituary, very important. She was a rare human being. God Bless.

I always admired how hard Brenda worked and how kind she was to everyone. She was so bright and a real role model in school. I haven't seen her since we graduated but will keep her memory close for a very long time. Such a huge loss for everyone who knew her.

I have fond memories of Brenda from Little Flower Academy. She was a very kind, friendly, gentle soul. Although we lost contact when she moved on to Pearson College, I have thought of her often over the years. Please accept my condolences at this sad time.
