Ron FERGUSON Obituary
1956 – 2015
Born in Victoria June 26, 1956, it is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ron Ferguson on February 9, 2015. He was a kind and gentle soul to all who knew him. He will be sorely missed by his loving family, Christine and his only daughter, Stephanie. He had a wicked sense of humour and was a very devoted father. The son of a prominent labour leader, Ron learned his craft as a talented marine electrician, earning the friendship and respect of his co-workers throughout the Lower Mainland. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in North Vancouver (15th & Lonsdale). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association would be greatly appreciated.

At the Drydock, Ron made an impression on my heart. His generous warmth, gentle kindness and genuine friendliness made him a cherished Friend To All, and he will be missed tremendously by all. I feel extremely blessed to have known him.

Life flitters by like a firefly. I am so sorry for the loss of your Sweetheart. Even though I can only imagine the pain of your sadness my dear Christine, i just hope these words bring some comfort.Life here is just a transition, and Ron is now on the other side of the door.We will all walk through that door soon enough. And even therough our tears, we just have to accept with very open and peaceful hearts that this time is just fleeting by like that firefly. And Ron is only behind that door waiting for you. I am so sorry for your grief.
